HANYU Cable Materials Co., Ltd. is located at the east of the Shandong Peninsula - Weihai which is the beautiful city and awarded the UN Habitat Scroll of Honor with clear water, green shores, clean beaches, unique reefs, & hundreds of kilometers of golden coastline.

HANYU was founded in 1982 with the company’s predecessor of“Weihai Non-woven Fabric Factory”which mainly produced non-woven fabric for shoes. In 1987, Hanyu successfully developed non-woven cable tapes, HANYU is the first non-woven cable tape producer in China solves the bottleneck problem of cable industry in china.

In 2007,HANYU invested 200 million RMB built the new factory of 40,000 square meters production plant & 7,200 square meters R&D centre in Weihai Qujiahe Industrial Park. We invested the advanced production lines, precision testing equipment & quality testing instruments, developed over one hundred types of cable tapes, including water-blocking tapes, semi-conductive/non-conductive binding tapes,low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant tapes and etc. Our products have the characteristics of light weight, thin thickness, good water-blocking performance, stable shielding function, high tensile strength, antibacterial, non-toxic and environmental friendly, these tapes are widely used in submarine cable, ultra high voltage cable, high voltage cable, medium & low voltage cable, communication cable, optical cable and etc. All our products have passed the tests of relevant national standards such as China National Wire & Cable Testing (TICW), MA, CNAS, ISO, IEC, SGC and etc. Hanyu owns 5 patents of invention, passed ISO9001 & ISO14001 certifications.

HANYU has one professional R&D team. We always focus on the key & core technologies of non-woven fabrics and cable tapes in cable industry, Hanyu is able to provide different solutions with customer’s inquiry.

HANYU has the advanced production lines & precision quality testing instruments, we strictly implements TQC management with the ERP system. With the know-how & experience, From the raw material,production process, & quality control, we pursue the excellent result, the key performance of our products always keep better than the typical request of relative standards & our competitors.After nearly half a century of development, Hanyu has an annual production capacity of 280 million square meters of non-woven fabric & 180 million square meters of cable tapes. Our stable productivity & quality provide a continuous and stable product supply for the cable industry.
